HL Metabolism, Cell Respiration And Photosynthesis Tutors For IB Biology

Qualified secondary Maths and Biology teacher with 15+ years of experience teaching and tutoring privately and in schools. Published academic and educational content writer. Former medical scribe.

Faculty of Biology in a reputed IB school with over 14 years of full time teaching experience.

As a doctor, TEDx speaker, published author and experienced tutor, I have over 3,000h+ of tutoring experience across all I/GCSE boards in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Maths, as well as A Level Biology and Medicine.

Alongside my clinical training, I have gained experience working in the healthcare and life sciences industry, including in translational strategy and early clinical development within a biotechnology company. This has given me a broader perspective on how scientific knowledge is applied beyond the classroom and has strengthened my ability to explain complex concepts clearly and systematically.

I am passionate about approaching each student's goals and needs from a systematic yet individual perspective. I take the time to understand where a student currently is, where they want to get to, and the specific gaps in knowledge or exam technique that may be holding them back. By considering the time we have available and tailoring our sessions accordingly, we can build a focused and realistic plan to achieve the goals we set together.

I will soon be beginning my medical residency in Neurology in Switzerland, and I intend to continue tutoring alongside my clinical and academic career.

Experienced biology and bioscience tutor, with a background in dissertations supervision and examinations. Science, learning and teaching are my passions. I also make sure that the students needs come first and I would like to share my passions to inspire the next generation of learners. I try to make my lessons inspiring, engaging, fun and a safe place to learn.
