Online Biology Tutor Anna-Marie

Hello, my name is Anna-Marie. I am currently a doctor working for the NHS. I have an undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences with Professional Placement, a Masters degree in Immunology and a Bachelors in Medicine and Surgery. My path to medicine was an unusual one, I started off wanting to become a scientist and after 2 years of my undergraduate degree and several research placements, I realised my true potential lies within the clinic, where I could interact with patients and help translate research into life-saving therapies.

Aside from my academic passions, I love sports and arts. I come from a very creative competitive family. My love for drawing and sports has shaped the way I learn and significantly helped me progress at university and in life. I would like to apply what I have learned and make my tutoring sessions as enjoyable as possible. I look forward to learning science with my students through drawing and games and approaching challenges in a positive manner. I have experienced my fair share of exams and assignments. My aim at MyTutor is to not only teach students but also to help them cultivate effective learning strategies and make sure they approach their assessments and deadlines with confidence.
