About Me
Hi, I'm Thomas, soon-to-be PhD graduate in Biomedical Engineering from UCL, keen to teach the tricks I've learned in my 11 years of higher education.
I studied in the French education system, French classes préparatoires, and at a prestigious engineering university, where I got two Masters degrees, before moving to London to pursue a PhD to complete my academic journey.
My passion for science is endless.
I am keen to learn and teach about everything, and my curiosity does not stop at scientific subjects, as I love discovering new cultures during travels; I have lived and studied in 5 countries, and I speak 6 languages!
I always put students in the middle of my teaching, making sure to adapt my strategy to the student's needs, as my main goal is to provide a deep understanding and sustainable methods for problem solving.

Tutor Experience
I have experience in tutoring and teaching at all academic levels, from secondary school to masters, and my teaching methods have been awarded by a Higher Education certification.
I taught 100+ undergraduates in electronics and electrochemistry at UCL, manipulating advanced maths and physics concepts, and I supervised 2 research projects, for which I devised a development strategy over several months to bring students up to speed.
I tutored several high school students in maths and physics for an academic year (weekly sessions), improving their results from fail to comfortable pass.
To tackle a scientific problem, I break it down into fundamental concepts to devise a solving strategy and I like to use a variety of examples, which I adapt for every student, to give a full understanding of the concepts and methods.
Topic Expertise
I have extensive knowledge and training in all scientific disciplines, especially in Maths (Algebra, Calculus, Geometry, Vectors, etc.), Physics (Mechanics, Electricity, Waves, Quantum Physics, etc.), Chemistry, Engineering, and Biology. At postgraduate level, I have training as a biomedical engineer with emphasis on Electrochemistry, Electronics and Material Science.
As a French native, I can also help in French.
