I am an experienced scientific author and tutor. I have a First Class B.Sc. (Hons.) degree in pharmaceutical sciences from the University of Greenwich and have been awarded my doctorate (Ph.D.) from the department of Food Biosciences at the University of Reading. My thesis discussed ‘The impact of dietary fat on risk factors of the metabolic syndrome’. My publications include subjects in biosciences and molecular biology.

I have successfully supported Ph.D. students through proofreading and line-editing thesis chapters, abstracts and scientific publications and have provided constructive feedback on improving the flow and structure of the documents. I am familiar with commonly used referencing styles, particularly the APA referencing style.

Through my scientific roles in the pharmaceutical industry, I have over 15 years of experience in all stages of drug development (including the use of AI), sequencing & molecular technologies and clinical trials. My expertise includes therapeutic areas such as diabetes, neurosciences, pain management, haematology, and cancer immunology. I have recently authored B.Sc. and Master’s courses in pharmaceutical innovation, management and medical technologies for an international university, including the production of short-cast powerpoint presentations and lecture videos for students.
