Online Tutor Afiya

I have lots of experience tutoring online and in the classroom. My students benefit mostly from lessons where we focus on literacy including; definition of key terms, linking case studies to theory and redrafting answers to essay questions. Students benefit from the opportunity to interrogate different command terms so as to really understand what the question requires. I have delivered online courses as well as revision classes and workshops in A-level economics and business. I have also worked with undergraduate students, helping to prepare them for end of module exams in business and economics. As a qualified teacher I have taught for more than 5 years across a range of qualifications in GCSE, A-level and IB Business and Economics .

I have been teaching and working with young people for more than 5 years. I have also worked as a examiner for AQA and Edexcel for both business and economics. At the end of 2015/16, I was able to secure 83% A* to B grades in A-level Economics, a 100% A-C in A level Business. Prior to this at the end of 2013/2014 academic year I was able to secure 100% A*-C in A-level Economics and 75% A*-C in AS Economics. I have worked for schools in Europe and across the UK. I am passionate about developing the right skills to achieve well on exams.
