I have taught genomics, biotechnology, and molecular biology to both students and trained scientists throughout my academic and industry experience. Most recently, I taught a summer course on Biotechnology and Genetics to international students aged 18 to 24, assisting them in selecting their next steps in education. My experience training scientists and research associates in various industries has exposed me to different educational levels, allowing me to develop personalized teaching approaches that yield the best results.

I have been training research associates and scientists both in person and online by preparing PowerPoint presentations and delivering lectures via Zoom. My experience delivering several speeches for Toastmasters International through Zoom has helped me develop my online communication skills. I am familiar with various online platforms for presenting data and conducting lectures.

At this point in my life, I have embraced my passion for sharing knowledge and inspiring others to explore the world of science. Therefore, I want to pursue a career in teaching adults. My communication experience with Toastmasters International has helped me learn effective storytelling techniques and overcome my fear of public speaking. I have successfully presented data in my corporate roles to international audiences. Additionally, I have experience teaching science to Italian children in the UK by conducting workshops for the Native Scientists Association, which is part of my commitment to promoting scientific literacy and reducing inequalities through science outreach and educational programs.
