Online English Tutor Maddie

We are beyond grateful for the incredible support our son received from Maddie! While he had always excelled in, and enjoyed maths & sciences, he disliked English, especially creative writing & comprehension, and would write as little as possible. Maddie took the time to understand what truly motivated him, and within just a few lessons, his confidence and enthusiasm for writing completely transformed. Her personalized approach not only helped him improve his creative writing skills but also prepared him thoroughly for the 11+ exam. I'm thrilled to say that he was accepted into every school he applied for, including Latymer Upper and Westminster School. Where do I start with Maddie? Not only has she been an excellent History tutor for my D, she has been also an excellent guide and mentor for her. My D was struggling with her performance in History, Maddie very quickly identified the underlying issues and noted that it was not my D’s knowledge but it was her time management and applying analytical skills properly in her answers. She then focused her lessons on enhancing my D’s capabilities in these areas and I could see very clear improvements. Maddie also came up with helpful tools to aid D’s timekeeping during exam which were phenomenal. She always kept me informed on D’s performance during lessons and also discussed in detail her needs so that I could support D at home. I am ever grateful for Maddie’s support and guidance for my D and we would very much like to continue her lessons with Maddie when needed in A levels. My son worked with Maddie in the summer of 2025 to help him improve his understanding of what will be required of him in his GCSE English exams. Maddie is a very professional and empathetic tutor, catering to individual learning styles. My daughter’s confidence has grown since Maddie has been tutoring her.
