Online Psychology Tutor Armita

I have more than 10 years of tutoring and educational experience across Psychology, Business, Economics and English language learning, working mainly through personalised one-to-one tuition and small-group teaching.

My earlier tutoring focused on Business Studies and Economics at A-Level and undergraduate level, including Microeconomics and Macroeconomics. I supported students with subject knowledge, exam preparation and revision, designing tailored lesson plans and assessment-focused materials for individuals and small groups of up to six learners.

More recently, I have provided undergraduate Psychology tutoring, helping students strengthen their understanding of psychological concepts, research methods, academic writing and exam technique. I particularly support students in moving beyond description towards stronger analysis, evaluation and application.

My academic background in Psychology also enables me to support research-focused work, including research questions, study design, quantitative and qualitative methods, interpretation of findings, critical evaluation and academic writing. I have experience with SPSS, NVivo and Excel.

Alongside academic tutoring, I currently teach English online to international learners, which has further strengthened my ability to explain complex ideas clearly, identify gaps in understanding and adapt lessons to different learning styles and confidence levels.

My lessons are structured around each student’s goals and may include concept teaching, exam and essay technique, model answers, research methods, data interpretation, critical analysis, academic writing, case studies, targeted questioning and personalised feedback.

My aim is for every lesson to have a clear purpose, measurable progress and practical next steps, so students leave with greater understanding, confidence and independence.

My principal areas of expertise are Psychology, Research Methods, Business and academic skills, supporting students from school level through to undergraduate study where appropriate.

Psychology

I support GCSE, A-Level and undergraduate Psychology students with subject knowledge, revision, psychological theories and research, research methods, critical evaluation, application questions, essay planning, academic writing and examination technique. I also support students in Psychological & Behavioural Sciences and Organisational Psychology, helping them understand, evaluate and apply psychological concepts effectively.

My background in Counselling Skills & Theory at Levels 2 and 3 also enables me to support the academic study of counselling theory, psychological approaches and related assignments.

Research Methods & Academic Skills

Research Methods is one of my strongest areas. I can support students with research questions and hypotheses, quantitative and qualitative methods, research design, variables, reliability and validity, ethics, interpreting findings, critical evaluation, literature reviews, referencing, essay and report structure, and academic argument. I also have experience using SPSS, NVivo and Excel.

I aim to make research methods clear and manageable by breaking the process into logical stages so students understand why each decision is made rather than simply memorising terminology.

Business & Management

I have a BSc (Hons) in Business & Management from Aston University and extensive tutoring experience in Business Studies and Economics. I support GCSE, A-Level and undergraduate students with business concepts, case-study application, analysis and evaluation, examination technique, organisational behaviour, marketing, academic writing and assignment planning.

My combined Psychology and Business background is particularly useful in organisational behaviour, motivation, leadership, workplace psychology and people management.

My aim is to make complex material clearer, strengthen assessment performance and help students become more confident, analytical and independent learners.
