I am creative and motivated engineer, educator and researcher who sets high standards in all aspects of my role. Excellent interpersonal skills and can communicate effectively at all levels. A proven good track record of leadership, management, and teamwork: curriculum development, and experiences in industrial engineering, manufacturing systems, new product development, digital supply-chain management, and the educational sectors. Flexible to any arising work demands, a critical, logical thinker and a positive professional attitude.
I am an academic and module leader specialising in engineering management, supply chain management, and industrial systems. I currently serve as a Senior Lecturer and Module Lead at the University of Hertfordshire, where I lead the design, delivery, and review of Level 6 and Level 7 modules, including Engineering Management and Finance, Sustainable Business of Engineering, and Storage and Warehouse Management. I teach across engineering, technology, and management programmes and supervise PhD, Master’s by Research, and MSc students. My supervision includes research on risk management in thermal energy storage systems and the integration of solar–wind hybrid renewable energy systems.
Prior to this, I was responsible for the MBA Supply Chain Management strand at the University of East London. In that role, I supported curriculum development, delivered MBA teaching sessions, and supervised Applied Business Projects.
Earlier in my career, I worked as Head of Engineering at The Bedford College Group (Tresham Campus), where I provided departmental leadership, supported curriculum development, strengthened links with employers, and led annual self-assessment and improvement activities.
I also served as a Lecturer at South Essex College, teaching Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering across BTEC Higher National and vocational programmes. In addition, I worked as a University Teacher at the University of Vaasa in Finland, delivering the Analytics in Project Management course for MSc students.
I completed a Postdoctoral Research and Development role at Aalborg University in Denmark, where I coordinated research teams, supervised more than 50 students, and contributed to the MADE Digital programme. My academic career began at the Botswana International University of Science and Technology, where I taught industrial engineering modules and supervised undergraduate and postgraduate research.
My research interest is in Enterprise Supply-Chain Management and Concurrent Engineering – Integrated New/Complex Product Development & Introduction. My current research focuses on Digitalisation and Supply-Chain Management – Enterprise SCM, Digital Manufacturing – 3D Printing, Industry 4.0 (Smart Production), the Internet of Things (IoT), Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), BigData Value-chain Management, etc.
