About Me
I love the subjects that I teach, and I am passionate about inspiring my students to enjoy and be excited about studying Chemistry and Physics. I explain their application to everyday situations that demonstrate their relevance to our modern world. This engagement is key to helping my students to see mastering Chemistry and Physics as being a challenge that is fun, and to gain confidence in their understanding. I am a highly skilled educator with proven ability to inspire confidence, understanding and engagement through clear, concept-based Chemistry and Physics teaching.
Tutor Experience
I have over twenty years experience as a highly effective Chemistry and Physics educator. My tutoring and lecturing experience includes: Individual and small group tutoring, as well as delivering exam preparation focussed revision lectures and problem solving seminars to large audiences of several hundred students. I have conducted live online lessons for over 10 years for international students following the A level, IB, AP and Cambridge International curricula, amongst others. My teaching approach combines academic rigour with clarity and enthusiasm, to help students develop genuine understanding and confidence, rather than a blind reliance on rote learning material.
