After graduating from a two-year MSc at UCL and The Anna Freud Centre, I worked around 21 months as a Research Associate at a university in Cyprus before starting my PhD at University of Edinburgh. During this time, I have led several research projects and currently have three first-author publications: a meta-analysis aggregating both correlational and curvilinear associations, a quantitative study applying multivariate multiple regression and mediation models, and a qualitative study applying thematic analysis. I have also co-authored two other publications.
I tutor and supervise both BSc, MSc, and PhD students in Psychology, Statistics, and Research Methods, including academic writing. I’m also delivering tutorials to groups of MSc students and marking assessments as a Postgraduate Tutor at the University of Edinburgh. I truly care about the people I help and will always go out of my way to deliver my very best. My pedagogy is to empower students to recognise and understand the solutions themselves; preferably divergent ones.
Broadly, my expertise lies in writing academically, critically assessing literature, conducting systematic reviews/meta-analyses, conducting and interpreting statistical tests, and carrying out qualitative studies (particularly thematic analysis). Within the field of psychology, I have particular expertise in attachment, self-regulation, personality, mental health and wellbeing, and adversity.
I really appreciate your support and patience with me!
Thank you so much!
