About Me
I graduated with First Class Honours in Economics from the University of Cambridge. Following this, I completed my MSc in Finance and Economics from the LSE with Distinction. During my time at Cambridge, I studied a range of quantitative and qualitative subjects, from mathematical economics to economic history and the philosophy of economic thought. My passion for economics led me to become the President of the Cambridge Society for Economic Pluralism, during which I networked with academics and policymakers, and have subsequently been a research assistant for world-renowned economists including Professors Ha-Joon Chang and Diane Coyle. I now work as a professional economist with an economic consultancy, specialising in regulation and market design, finance and valuation.
Tutor Experience
I have tutored for over four years, guiding numerous students each year to successfully gain admission to the Cambridge Economics Tripos. My comprehensive coaching encompasses personal statements, admissions tests, and interview stages. I draw on the contents of undergraduate economics syllabi and tailored learning resources to ensure students are well-versed in economic subjects beyond the A-Level syllabus. This preparation allows them to stand out in personal statements and interviews while avoiding common clichés. My students have also excelled, winning prizes in the John Locke Institute and Marshall Society Essay Competitions. Additionally, I have volunteered pro bono with Tutor the Nation and the Oxbridge Launchpad admissions service, helping aspiring students achieve their academic goals.
