About Me

I am a final-year Cambridge medical student at Emmanuel College, currently completing my MB BChir and having secured the most competitive Specialised Foundation Programme post in Cambridge for my foundation training. I intercalated with a First Class BA in Physiology, Development & Neuroscience, and hold 4A* A-Levels and 10A* GCSEs.

I specialise in Oxbridge and competitive UK university admissions, and have been mentoring students in this space since 2018. My own academic journey, from a state school in Crawley to Cambridge Medicine, gives me a grounded and honest perspective on what these applications demand, and I use that experience directly in how I support my students.

I was awarded the Harvard PRISE Excellence Scholarship, one of only seven awarded globally, to conduct biomedical research at Harvard University and Boston Children's Hospital. My work there focused on the biochemistry of cellular organelles, biochemical modelling, and the application of machine learning to organoid development, producing a neural network with 98% predictive accuracy. Back at Cambridge, my intercalated neuroscience research involved computational analysis of over 5,000 hours of behavioural data modelling sleep disturbances in schizophrenia, which formed the basis of a First Class dissertation. I have since published as both lead and co-author on peer-reviewed clinical papers in 2024 and 2025.

Beyond academia, I am a 5× Indoor Rowing World Record Holder and have coached at Trinity Hall Boat Club, applying performance psychology principles to athlete development. I bring the same structured, goal-oriented mindset to my tutoring.

Across all of this, what drives me is helping people perform at their ceiling. I use a structured and supportive approach to ensure each student develops both the confidence and clarity needed to succeed, whether that means a place at a top medical school, a competitive postgraduate offer, or simply a much stronger command of a difficult subject.

Tutor Experience

I have been tutoring since 2018, accumulating over 400 hours of one-to-one and small-group instruction across Medicine, Biomedical Sciences, and competitive university admissions. My students range from GCSE level through to postgraduate applicants, and I have supported candidates into medical schools, MSc programmes, and PhDs at Oxford, Cambridge, UCL, and KCL, maintaining a 100% admissions success rate throughout.

Alongside private tutoring, I hold an official position as a University of Cambridge Supervisor, leading supervisions for Year 4-5 medical students in clinical reasoning, OSCE preparation, and evidence-based practice. I developed a data-driven feedback framework that improved student performance metrics by over 20%, and I consistently achieve above 95% positive feedback ratings for teaching clarity and constructive guidance.

My specialist areas include GAMSAT, UCAT preparation, Oxbridge personal statement and interview coaching, and university-level Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. I also supervise undergraduate and postgraduate dissertations and systematic reviews, with particular expertise in quantitative research methods, statistical analysis, and academic writing. For students requiring support with data analysis, I tutor Python, R, and Excel to a high standard.

What underpins my teaching is in-depth subject knowledge. I don't teach from a script. I draw on my own research experience at Harvard and Cambridge, my clinical training, and my understanding of what top institutions are actually looking for, to give students a real and honest picture of how to compete at the highest level.

Every student receives a structured diagnostic assessment at the outset, a clearly defined learning pathway, and regular feedback cycles designed to build both competence and confidence. My approach is direct, thorough, and consistently focused on results.
