About Me
I am originally from the UK and I have my BSc, MSc and PGCE from UK universities, I have also obtained QTS. My career as a teacher has taken me to numerous countries originally to Europe and then to Asia.
I have undergraduate degrees in Mathematics related subjects and a Masters in Computer Science. I have a deep intertest in tecnhonoligy and I use a range of tools in my teacher (Graphical Calculators, Geogebra, Wolfram Alpha).
Tutor Experience

I specialise in the IBDP Mathematics AA and AI course. These are the only subjects I tutor.
I am a fully qualified UK teacher with QTS, having taught the IB DP Math AAHL (formerly Math HL) and AIHL for 12 years. Prior to that, I worked in British International schools, teaching IGCSE and A-Level courses. I have also been tutoring online for several years, finding the medium well-suited for teaching the IB DP Math AA/AI courses.
As an IB examiner I can pass on invaluable exam techniques and methods to improve examination grades. I am a firm believer in using technology to support learning. Modeling solutions and concepts using technology is an essential component and one I can facilitate and develop in learners.
Having both examined and taught the Mathematics IA and EE components of the course I am very well placed to offer advice, ideas and feedback on these tricky elements of the diploma program.
