"I am writing to recommend Nicole Rayment as a tutor. Nicole has been teaching my two teenage children since they were 7 and 10 years old (they are now 13 and 15), and during that time I have seen consistent, thoughtful, and effective tutoring that has supported their academic journey.
Nicole has taught both of my children a range of subjects, including English, Maths, French and Spanish. Her ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently has made a significant difference to their confidence and progression. She adapts her approach to suit each child’s needs, which is especially important given that my children have progressed from early years learning to GCSE level under her guidance. What stands out about Nicole is her versatility and warmth with learners of all ages and abilities. She engages young children with age-appropriate activities while also challenging older students to push beyond their current limits. Her sessions are well structured, with clear goals, regular feedback, and constructive praise that motivates improvement without pressure.
I have found Nicole to be reliable, professional, and incredibly supportive. She communicates well with parents, maintains excellent attendance, and consistently provides feedback on progress and next steps. Her fluency in multiple subjects including English, Maths, French and Spanish has given my children a strong, well-rounded educational foundation. In summary, I would highly recommend Nicole as a tutor for students seeking someone who can teach across ages and stages, ranging from early years through to GCSE. She is confident, capable, and genuinely dedicated to helping her students achieve their best. If you would like any further information, please do not hesitate to contact me."

"It is with great pleasure that I write this reference for Nicole. I have known Nicole since February 2023, during which time I have had the privilege of working closely with her in both a professional and personal capacity. I first contracted Nicole as a Course Director for my summer schools in Oxford, where she played an instrumental role in the success of our programmes. Over the past two years, she has proven herself to be exceptionally organised, proactive, and attentive, consistently demonstrating initiative and great care in all aspects of her work. As part of her responsibilities, Nicole not only coordinated our summer courses but also designed and delivered in-depth, educational, and dynamic lesson plans that were both engaging and stimulating. She is highly adaptable, working effectively in one-to-one settings as well as with larger groups of students, and her teaching style is both rigorous and inspiring.
Nicole oversaw the recruitment process for our academic staff, which included Oxford students and recent graduates, DPhil candidates, and even Oxford professors, all of whom were interviewed and hand-picked by Nicole. She was also responsible for liaising directly with the Oxford colleges that hosted our programmes. Working with someone of Nicole’s calibre in this context was a pleasure; she collaborated seamlessly with senior academics and support staff alike, always displaying exceptional professionalism, initiative, and a genuinely personable nature that made her a joy to work with. Beyond her academic and organisational strengths, Nicole’s pastoral care has been remarkable. She has an intuitive ability to connect with students and to provide thoughtful guidance and support. During our summer programmes, she frequently went above and beyond her formal duties, checking in on students who were struggling and mentoring them outside of class. Her empathy and warmth made a profound difference to many of our students’ experiences. Nicole’s academic background, including her Oxford education, combined with her fluency in five languages, makes her an outstanding candidate for any educational role. She brings not only intellectual depth and teaching expertise but also an infectious enthusiasm and a genuine care for the people she works with. I could not recommend Nicole more highly for a tutoring position. She would be a tremendous asset to your company, bringing professionalism, creativity, and compassion to every aspect of her work."

"Being put in contact with Nicole was such a blessing. Luckily, it was just before lockdown and she quickly became a pillar in my 7 year old son's education (he is now age 11), especially as we only speak French at home. Nicole undoubtedly keeps notes of all my son’s mistakes and weaknesses introducing them discreetly with time until they are assimilated and consolidated. Indeed Nicole’s organisation skills are truly impressive. Her reactivity, and extensive report after each session - in addition to a more formal report every term if needed - help us follow my son's journey together and I am appreciate every step of the progress. My son looks forward to having his 11+ English lessons with Nicole as she manages to make them both entertaining and stimulating - something I’ve been struggling as a mother doing homeschooling. Her clear and constructive communication skills facilitate not only her relation with the children but also with their parents: I really felt I worked as a team with her every single step of the way. She is truly gifted in tutoring and wish she will accompany my children's English education - and probably soon other subjects- for many years ahead."
