About Me
I am a calm, approachable and engaging tutor with a strong academic and professional background in business, finance and law. My goal is to help students build confidence in their subject by simplifying complex concepts and combining academic theory with practical real-world examples.
I hold a BA (Hons) in Law & Business Studies from the University of Liverpool and a Graduate Diploma in Law. In addition, I hold professional finance qualifications from the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment, including the CISI Level 4 Investment Advice Diploma and the CISI Level 4 Certificate in Paraplanning.
Alongside tutoring, I work in senior leadership roles within FTSE 100 companies. This allows me to bring practical insight into areas such as business strategy, financial markets and investment decision-making, helping students understand how academic concepts apply in real-world situations.
Tutor Experience
I have over 100 hours of tutoring experience through Titanium Tutors, supporting students across GCSE, A-Level and University level. I focus on helping students develop strong subject understanding, structured exam technique and clear analytical thinking.
I have supported students in achieving strong academic outcomes, including helping a GCSE Business student improve from a predicted Grade 2 to a final Grade 9 and supporting a business degree student with dissertation development who achieved a final 2:1 classification.
My teaching style is supportive, structured and tailored to each student’s learning needs, ensuring lessons are engaging and focused on achieving measurable academic progress.
