I have been teaching chemistry and science internationally to 11-18 year old students for over a decade now.
I like to use gamification to enhance my lessons and promote student engagement, as well as making real-life connections to industry and the environment.

After completing my chemistry degree, I went on to be a teaching assistant for a year to decide if education was right for me. Needless to say it ignited my passion for teaching and after gaining my PGCE, moved to Russia where I obtained my QTS at the British International School. Now moved to Spain where I have been living and working since 2020.
Taught at the British International School, Moscow between 2013-2020 teaching IGCSE chemistry, IB chemistry, and IGCSE ICT.
Now in Spain teaching IGCSE chemistry and international A-level chemistry.
Organic chemistry,
applying chemistry to environmental problems and solutions,
developing ICT skills alongside the chemistry skills,
gamification of learning to boost engagement.
James was encouraged by a challenging lesson.
Very clear and methodical.
