Struggling with your dissertation or PhD? I’ll guide you step by step in research design, data analysis, and academic writing.
I am an experienced academic with over 15 years in UK higher education, currently serving as Associate Professor in Circular Economy at Birmingham City University. I have taught and supervised students at undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD levels across Business, Management, and Economics at leading institutions including Warwick, Henley Business School, and the University of Birmingham.
My specialism is research methods and dissertation/thesis support. I guide students through every stage of the research process, from developing proposals and refining research questions to applying qualitative and quantitative methods, analysing data, and structuring high-quality submissions. I regularly support students with case study research, thematic analysis (Braun & Clarke), NVivo, survey design, regression modelling, SPSS, and mixed-methods approaches.
Having supervised numerous dissertations and examined PhDs internationally, I know what examiners look for and how to help students meet the highest academic standards. My teaching style is structured, practical, and student-centred — designed to build confidence and turn complex research challenges into clear, achievable steps.
I have over 15 years of experience teaching Business, Management, Economics, and Circular Economy across undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels in the UK. I currently serve as Associate Professor in Circular Economy and have previously taught at University of Warwick, Henley Business School (Reading), and the University of Birmingham.
My teaching and supervision portfolio covers:
Research methodology (qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods)
Dissertation and thesis supervision at UG, MSc, MBA, DBA, and PhD levels
Business school modules in strategy, economics, and sustainability
Academic writing, critical analysis, and examiner expectations for high-quality submissions
I regularly use digital platforms such as Zoom, Moodle, Padlet, and Mentimeter to create interactive and adaptive online learning experiences. My focus is always on tailoring guidance to the individual student — whether that means clarifying complex methodology, strengthening argumentation, or building confidence in academic writing and data analysis.
I am a Professor in Business and Management with over 15 years of experience teaching and supervising students in UK universities. My expertise lies in research methodology, dissertations, and doctoral-level support across business, management, economics, and sustainability.
Many students at undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD level struggle with designing robust research, analysing data, and structuring their dissertations to meet examiner expectations. My approach is to provide clear, step-by-step guidance that builds confidence in both methodology and academic writing.
I specialise in:
Dissertation supervision (UG, MSc, MBA, DBA, PhD) — topic refinement, research questions, structure, coherence, and contribution.
Research methods, qualitative (case study design, interviews, thematic analysis using Braun & Clarke, NVivo) and quantitative (SPSS, STATA, Econometrics, regression, survey design).
Academic writing and critical analysis, literature reviews, argumentation, structuring chapters, integrating theory and findings.
Doctoral support, PhD proposal development, supervisory-style mentoring, and guidance on publishing in peer-reviewed journals.
I have supervised over 80 UG and PG dissertations, examined multiple PhDs internationally, and published widely in areas of business research, sustainability, and circular economy. You can see examples of my publications on Google Scholar https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=7pbIJMYAAAAJ&hl=en
My sessions are practical, interactive, and tailored to individual student needs, whether that’s clarifying methods, walking through coding and analysis, or reviewing draft chapters with detailed feedback.
The sessions were focused and practical. I finally understood how to apply thematic analysis properly, and my confidence grew with each week. Yiqing Wang, Postgraduate Student

Dr Krish explained qualitative research methods so clearly, I went from being stuck on my methodology chapter to submitting a dissertation I was proud of. Faith, MBA, Hanley Business School.
Dr Krish made research philosophy finally make sense for me. Before his sessions, I was very confused about concepts like positivism and interpretivism, and how they connected to my methodology. He explained the differences step by step and showed me how to justify my own choices in a clear, academic way. Thanks to his guidance, I felt much more confident in writing my dissertation. I truly appreciate his patience and structured approach. – Li Wei, MSc Student, WMG, University of Warwick
As a veterinary doctor transitioning into business management, I found the MBA dissertation at Henley Business School especially challenging. Dr Krish provided outstanding support throughout the process — from narrowing down my topic to refining the structure and improving the quality of my analysis. He was patient, clear, and always encouraged me to link my professional experience to academic theory. His guidance gave me confidence and helped me achieve an excellent result. – Fiona McGregor, Veterinary Doctor & MBA Student, Henley Business School, University of Reading
Balancing my MBA dissertation with running an AI start-up was overwhelming at first. Dr Krish provided the structure and academic guidance I needed — from sharpening my research questions to making sure my arguments were rigorous and well-supported. His mentoring helped me connect cutting-edge technology themes with solid business research, and I was able to submit a dissertation I was genuinely proud of. – Hiroshi Tanaka, MBA Student, Henley Business School, University of Reading
I first met Dr Krish at a conference in Greece, where he generously shared his advice on developing my research further. As an early-career academic from Peru, I was struggling to navigate the publication process. Dr Krish patiently guided me through refining my paper, strengthening the methodology, and targeting the right journals. Thanks to his mentorship, I was able to publish my first article in a reputable outlet — a milestone that has boosted my confidence and career. His support has been truly transformative. - Camila Huamán, Early-Career Researcher, Peru
Completing a PhD can feel overwhelming at times, but having Dr Krish as my supervisor made all the difference. He guided me with patience and clarity throughout the research process — from framing my questions and refining my methodology to strengthening my arguments and preparing for the viva.
