About Me

I am a psychology and neuroscience tutor, lecturer, and academic mentor with a PhD in Psychological Medicine. I combine over 5 years of teaching experience with 10+ years of research experience to support postgraduate students in developing research skills, critical thinking, and confidence in their academic work.

I teach lectures, tutorials, and workshops across psychology, neuroscience, and mental health programs, and supervise MSc dissertations and research projects. I also lead modules and support postgraduate programs, helping students achieve both academic and personal growth.

I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), an internationally recognised recognition of excellence in teaching and higher education standards.

My research focuses on the biological, psychological, and environmental factors that influence depression. I have published in high-impact journals (ORCID) and my work has been covered by the Telegraph and Evening Standard. I also present at international neuroscience conferences and provide guidance to students and early-career researchers in preparing conference presentations and academic talks.

In addition, I contribute to public-facing blogs on mental health to help make research findings accessible. I provide tailored support for postgraduate students and early-career researchers, helping them strengthen academic skills, research abilities, and overall confidence.
