I am a qualified English teacher and I have taught English Language and Literature in secondary schools in London, UK, for over twenty years. Reading is my hobby, as well as my job.
I am a qualified English teacher. I have taught English in secondary schools in London for over twenty years. My teaching experience includes Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, including the GCSE English Language and Literature exam, A Levels and IB. I am also a GCSE examiner.
English is my area of expertise. At the moment, I am teaching the AQA GCSE English Language and Literature exam, but I have taught all the exam boards in the past. My expertise includes A Christmas Carol, An Inspector Calls, Macbeth, both Poetry Anthologies and Unseen Poetry. With regards to the English Language GCSE, I am an expert on both Paper 1 and 2. I also teach Key Stage 3 (Years 7-9) in ways that will enhance your skills and stand you in good stead for your GCSE exams.
Thank you so much for the tutor Lea, it helped enormously during my exam the next day. I did have to jot another answer for a last question but i approached them in a far better way because of our lesson. They were extremely useful and i have you to thank for so many of my marks. Thank you for the lesson!
very helpful class
Very useful practice of GCSE English Literature and language- we covered some poetry and I found Lea’s points really helpful. Thank you!
Lea has really developed my understanding of 'An Inspector Calls' and her resources and knowledge has made a big difference in my confidence in answering questions.
