I completed my PhD in Metabolism and Cardiorespiratory Health in 2019. Prior to that, I conducted my MD thesis on the prognostic role of polymorphonuclear cell count in pre-term delivery. Also, I focused on the association between insulin resistance and lung function in adults with asthma and obesity in my MSc obesity dissertation.
I was awarded the Specialist Certification of Obesity Professional Education(SCOPE) in 2017 and recognised as a research fellow by the International Society of Hypertension in 2018.
At present, I offer scientific writing and data analysis support on a wide range of academic and professional research projects related to medicine, life sciences, and psychology.
In addition, I have peer-reviewed the manuscripts submitted to a variety of medical journals, including the Lancet, BMJ open, Journal of Obesity, and Annals of Human Biology. I have also developed and contributed to panel discussions in several internationally accredited Webinars for healthcare professionals.
I am a HEA-approved subject matter expert in medicine, SPSS data analysis, nutrition, and health sciences with 8 years of experience in delivering undergraduate and postgraduate courses and supervising academic projects at the University of South Wales and London Metropolitan University.
I provide scientific writing and statistical analysis support, PhD and MSc research advice, and exam-oriented guidance.
My areas of expertise include the following:
• Academic writing
• Medical education
• Statistics and research methodology
• Nutrition, Dietetics and Weight Management
I adopt a student-focused, interactive e-learning approach, emphasising student engagement, and promoting creative thinking, problem-solving and critical decision-making.
I use various resources, including audiovisual lectures, case vignettes, datasets and clinical scenarios to make my sessions engaging.
Throughout my career so far, I have developed wide-ranging research interest and experience in diabetes, rheumatology, cardiovascular disease, respiratory medicine, clinical nutrition, weight management, and epidemiology.
I am skilled in scientific writing, conducting statistical analysis of large-scale health databases, and critically reviewing prospective observational and interventional studies.

Helpful, knowledgeable and quickly to interpret general concerns into workable advice - thank you
Really helpful. My third class with Roham, he is very clear, kind and patient with a beginner! Making good progress that would not have been possible without him. Will be booking in for more classes to get support analysing my data.
