About Me
I am a passionate educator with twenty years' experience. I am educated to PhD level, and I hold a PGCHE (a formal teaching qualification) alongside a Masters and Bachelor degree. I currently lecture and supervise dissertations on an executive MBA programme, and I am an extensively published academic writer. I am also the Research Officer for British Mensa. I formerly managed the research methods stream of an undergraduate degree programme at a leading English university, and I have extensive experience of lecturing across business, leadership , management, research, science and sociology courses. I have great passion for research, academic writing, business and science.
Most importantly, I love to help students succeed! In my spare time, I love working out - I am also a qualified personal trainer and Pilates coach - and I love the great outdoors.
Tutor Experience
I have twenty years' experience of lecturing, mostly at undergraduate and postgraduate level. I specialise in business, leadership & management related subjects, research methods (particularly qualitative and research philosophy-related), dissertations, critical thinking, academic writing and sport studies/sport science. I have also written academic books on finance and politics-related subjects. Alongside a PhD, I also hold a higher education teaching certificate. I also hold a TEFL (Teaching English as a foreign Language) qualification, so I am able to teach both native and non-native English speakers.
