I am an American who has spent most of his adult life outside of the US. I went to the University of Edinburgh (class of 2010) for my undergraduate degree, and UCL (class of 2015) for my teaching certification. I taught ESL and was an IB Economics tutor in Vietnam and taught A level and iGCSE Economics in the UK and China. I have just finished my Economics MA from The New School, where I was a TA, and I am now creating educational content and tutoring Economics remotely.
I have 7 years experience teaching high-school Economics (mostly A-level, with some IB), and I taught undergraduate students when I was in graduate school. I’ve also been an IB Economics tutor, and I am currently employed making IB Economics revision materials. I understand that every student’s needs are different, and I can help anyone get a better understanding of the content and improve their essay writing skills. My lessons will be most effective if I am given examples of your work beforehand, so that we can quickly zero in on areas that can be improved.
