About Me

Hi there! I'm Nathan, a passionate 28-year-old from London, with a PhD in Physics. Science has always been my forte, and I'm thrilled to share my knowledge and help students excel in their academic journey. I am internationally minded and enjoy tutoring people from all over the world.

Tutor Experience

Over the years, I have honed my tutoring skills through various experiences. I began tutoring during my high school years, guiding fellow students to grasp complex concepts effectively. During my university years, I continued to offer private tutoring sessions, catering to individual learning needs. Additionally, I spent summers working with tutoring agencies in London, gaining valuable insights into different teaching methodologies. As a result, I've developed comprehensive study plans that have proven successful in empowering students to reach their full potential. Tutoring in England, Scotland and internationally has given me experience with students working for different qualifications and exam boards. I am particularly experienced in helping students prepare for their mathematics GCSEs with exam boards from such as Edexcel and AQA.

Topic Expertise

Mathematics (GCSE, A-Level and beyond), Physics (GCSE, A-Level and beyond),, Chemistry (GCSE,), and Coding (Python and C++). I am also proficient with academic writing having published numerous papers in scientific journals. With regards to Mathematics, although I am most experience tutoring at GCSE level. At the undergraduate level, I'm most experienced tutoring mathematics modules related to physics such as linear algebra and vector calculus. As my PhD research is in Physics, I feel confident tutoring at all levers, with most experience in optics.
